Turtle Island, Fiji

Last stop

I just landed in Fiji I have just noticed that this is my last destination till I go back home to Canada, I am very sad that my journey is ending but I am happy to go see my family back home. Fiji is one of the most beautiful places in the world that most people cant go to. In my 3 day stay here in Fiji I plan to go scuba diving, fishing, and relax on the beach and enjoy this warm weather.

The resort that I am staying at is called the Turtle Island resort, its a 5 star resort that get great reviews online, it cost about 755$ per night so for two nights this will cost me 1510$ in total.

Day One
Today I am going scuba diving, Fiji is known to be one of the best places to go scuba diving because of the different types of under water species they have. First they got trained me how to scuba dive and they show me all the safety precautions, then after all the training was done we went on a boat and traveled 30 mins out to sea, this is where we went scuba diving.

Day Two
After that eventful day yesterday I have decided to take it is and go fishing for the day, fishing is also really in popular in Fiji because of the vast population of aquatic animals. I have rented a boat for the day and it cost me 50$.

It is now 7 pm and I am heading back to the hotel room, today I caught 13 fishes and the largest one was 15 inches long, I was very impressed with my luck today because i usually go the whole say without catching anything.

Day Three
The final day of my dream trip I have decided to do what I love most which is swim on the beach. All of the beaches in Fiji are amazing and the water is really warm and has a beautiful blue colour to it.

Now I am on my way to end my trip of a life time and head home, I am really sad to end this journey but I got to see a lot of really cool places that most people will not see in their life time. I have a 10 hour flight to auckland then another 14 hour flight to Toronto, this will cost me 1400$.

The End of my dream trip...

Auckland, New Zeland

Penultimate destination

I will be spending two nights in Auckland with an early flight to Fiji on the third day. I will be staying at The Langham Auckland hotel. The cost for this hotel is $340 per night.

On day 1, I will be visiting the Sky Tower. This is an observation and telecommunications tower in Auckland, New Zealand. Sky Tower is 328 meters in height and is the tallest man-made structure in New Zealand. Construction on this tower was started in 1994 and it was opened in 1997. This tower has panoramic views, bungee jumping and a high-end revolving restaurant. This will be my first time bungee jumping...I think I've earned dinner at the restaurant after that!

On day 2 of my stay, I will be visiting Rangitoto Island. Rangitoto Island is a volcanic island in the Hauraki Gulf. This 5.5 KM wide Island is iconic and a widely visible landmark. It has a distinctive symmetrical shield volcano cone which rises 260 metres high over the gulf. This is the most recent and the largest of approximately 50 volcanos in Aucklands volcanic field.

Day 3, off to Fiji for fun and relaxing in the sun. Flight time is 2 hours and 38 minutes, cost is $309 one way.

Melbourne, Australia

Land down under

After that terribly long flight, I have arrived in Melbourne, Australia. I will be staying at the The Westin Melbourne Hotel. The cost per night at this 5 star hotel is $195.

I will spending the first day of my stay here relaxing and getting familiar with my surrounds. I have nothing planned for this day but I am hoping to have recovered from the long flight enough so that I can go for a walk to visit nearby shops and parks.

On day 2 of my stay in Australia, I will be going to the Melbourne Zoo. The Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens contains more than 320 animals from Australia and around the world. This is the oldest zoo in Australia and was opened on October 6, 1862. The cost of admission to the zoo is $31.60. I am looking forward to seeing animals which we do not have back home.

On Day 3, I will be heading out for an evening at the opera house. The Melbourne Opera House is one of the most iconic places in the world. They are known to be the leading opera company in the world. It was founded in 2002.

Now I am off to my penultimate city which is Auckland, New Zealand which is 3 hours and 45 minutes away. The cost for this flight is $623.

Berlin, Germany

This flight was the shortest one yet! Thank goodness because flying is becoming annoying. I will only be staying here for a day before heading to the next destination. My goal here is simply to ride the autobahn. this has always been a dream of mine since I was a child. The autobahn is a highway that has no speed limit. Speeds must be adapted to the road traffic, visibility and weather conditions. For this experience of a lifetime, I am renting a Lamborghini Aventador. This sports car will cost $1600 Euros for one day...that is why this is a one day stay

From here I'm heading to the airport for my 20 hour flight to Melbourne, Australia. Looks like I will be catching up on some sleep during this flight! This flight will cost $2000.
